CWE Workshops

Mary Jane Nordahl is a writer and poet. She holds a BA in Creative Writing and Comparative & World Literature from San Francisco State University. She has experience leading creative writing and reading groups, proofreading, editing, and is an audio reader.

Mary Jane grew up in California. She has also called Malmö, Sweden her home, where her family has spent many summers and holidays visiting family and friends. In 2025, she moved with her family from the San Francisco Bay Area to Malmö. Excited to connect with fellow writers in Malmö, she searched for an English-language creative writing community, but found limited opportunities to join workshops and meet other writers.

CWE Workshops was founded for English-language writers in Malmö, Sweden and throughout Europe who want to develop their craft in a supportive environment. Mary Jane believes that every writer benefits from encouragement, constructive feedback, and a community that shares a passion for storytelling.
