The Writer's Monthly Reading Circle: 12 months

The Writer's Reading Circle is a monthly gathering where we read with intention and not just for pleasure. We study the craft hidden inside the prose and understand that reading and writing are not seperate activities. They are two sides of the same practice. 

Each session centres on a carefully chosen prose: a novel, a short story, a memoir, or an essay. Each selected for the richness of its craft. We read it together between sessions, then gather live to discuss not just what the work is about, but how it works and what we can borrow, adapt, or be inspired by in our own writing.

What to expect:

• Monthly sessions on Zoom
• Selected monthly readings chosen for craft depth*
• Guided craft prompts drawn directly from the text
  
• Access to session notes and craft observations after each gathering

The Writer's Reading Circle is for writers at any stage who want to read and think more deeply about craft and be part of a community that takes both reading and writing seriously. 

*Note:  Books are not included in the annual registration fee.

Event duration: 12 months, 1.5 hour sessions once a month
